Hey Planet in Vogue listeners, long time no see! It's been a while since I have spoken to you all, but all I have to say is wow this weather lately has been amazing. It finally that season where the weather begins to get warm, but you then don't have anything to wear. It's the absolute worst! If you are someone like me this time of year for clothing is the worst nothing is cute, all of the clothing material is made out of synthetic fibers and harm our ocean. It's so annoying.
As we all see there's magic in sea glass from the way it transforms from discarded shards into something smooth, luminous, dainty, and treasured. That's the energy that is behind Mermaid's Tears, a sustainable fashion brand rooted in storytelling, coastal beauty, and protecting the ocean. Inspired by the idea that every piece of sea glass holds a story, Mermaid's Tears was created to turn fashion into a force for good. We believe clothing should honor the earth, celebrate diverse bodies and cultures, and speak from the sea.
And now...we're launching on June 16th at our Rhode Island store!

Mermaid's Tears is a coastal fashion brand that is dedicated to sustainability, inclusion, and ocean conservation. We design clothing for women that blends effortless beach style with global coastal influences.

Inclusive Sizing (XS-4X) with designs made to flatter every body type
Global Inspiration from coastal cultures that honor traditional textiles, patterns, and artisanship from the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Pacific Islands. You may spot this in our jewelry.
Sustainable Practices from seed to stitch we focus on including everything from ethical factories, fair wages, eco-friendly fabrics, etc.
Social Responsibility through our partnerships with ocean conservation groups like Oceana Campaign and working with Finatics to save sharks and eliminate shark finning.
Each piece tells a story and each purchase helps protect marine life and our planet's most precious resource: water.

June 16th - Grand Opening

Join us to give back to the ocean! All participants will receive an exclusive limited edition (just for today) a Mermaid's Tears x Finatics sustainable tote bag. Together we will remove trash, raise awareness, and connect with fellow ocean lovers. (hint: save you trash/plastics for tomorrows workshop).
